In 1979…Al Kohout had a vision. That vision was to create lasting memories for families in the form of videos. Up until that point, video was used primarily for broadcast television and very expensive industrial presentations while film was being used for capturing family memories. Al was determined that if he could provide high-quality video services, he could fill a need that wasn’t being addressed in traditional ways.

From that vision, Sound Memories was born and today Al still directs the day-to-day operations with a team of creative, customer-driven people ready to serve clients with the same dedication to quality at affordable prices.
